The start to a great year

I am going to take one photo every day and post it on here with the date. I thought about doing one theme for the entire year, but I think I want to change things up. So, I've decided that every month will have it's own theme. January's theme is "Looking Up". While people drive or walk around Houston, they rarely look up and how things looks right above them. So far I've captured the awesome angles of the buildings downtown, the birds that congregate together at this one intersection near US 59, the sky, and other interesting objects that we miss that are right above us. I also figured "Looking Up" was a great metaphor for the new year. For me, this blog is about finding creativity in the every day hustle and bustle of my life. I love photography and even though most of these photos are taken from my iPhone, one photo one day allows me to capture the little things in life that most of us miss. Since today is January 21st, I am going to back track a bit to catch up for the last 21 days. I have been taking the photos, but keep forgetting to post them.
